After a series of successful collaborations with Danish industrial giant Danfoss, I was commissioned to conceptualise and write a 15-minute film for the company's massive compressors division, the world leader in compressor technology for cooling applications. The brief was to create an original and distinctive piece that could be used on stands at trade shows, as part of the induction process, and also by sales teams for conferences and events.
Danfoss Compressors take justifiable pride in their unrivalled R&D operation, the quality and dedication of their people, and the many and varied skills and interests they bring to their working lives. They wanted to highlight these qualities, as well as focus on a new range of compressors they were developing, named after stars. This was the creative cue for a documentary style script that followed several team members out of their weekend activities and into a typical Monday morning, exploring core Danfoss Compressors skills and competencies as it went along.
