Surcharges
Extraction
If your copy is not supplied in Microsoft Word format, I apply a surcharge of GBP0.01 per word of the source text, plus VAT at the prevailing rate (UK customers only) to cover the time it takes to extract your text from PowerPoint, web pages, PDFs, etc.
Express service
If a specific request to have your text turned round very quickly means that I have to work unsocial hours to meet your deadline, I will charge an additional GBP0.025 per word of the source text, plus VAT at the prevailing rate (UK customers only). I will always advise you if you are likely to incur this surcharge, and will clear it with you in advance, via email. Wherever possible, I will try to meet your needs without incurring this surcharge.
